Diversion Tutorial - Theory
For some reason, many Student Pilots have a fear of the diversion procedure. Prior to making this simple tutorial, I talked with a number of instructors and examiners throughout the country to get a feel for what is required. This short tutorial is based on their feedback.
In particular, the tutorial deals with crosswinds, drift and the use of fanlines to keep you on the straight and narrow. What is learned here is then used in the tutorial on diversions.
