The workshops, while very popular have proven too difficult to organise in terms of logistics and , with pressure of other work, I have decided to cease these workshops and instead concentrate on OneOnOne training. As this is no longer my main interest, it will be held irregularly during the year.
Being a wedding videographer is much more than purchasing a Camcorder, shooting as much as possible and getting a DVD back to the bride/groom - it is a documentary production that requires artistic skill, technical know-how and business acumen. It is not for the faint-hearted, neither is it for the quiet recluse - to do a good job, and to be successful requires a unique personality. people coming into the business thinking that it is 'money for jam' will be very disappointed - or worse, their customers will be sorely disappointed with the results.
I am here to advise and help you learn YOUR craft, I can tutor but am not here to teach - that you can do at school.
What previous experience is required? If you are genuine then I expect that you will have at least used a camcorder of some sort and have tried to make videoclips - being realistic I also expect that you will have been a disappointed with some of those clips and that you want to improve your skills - that you want to produce engaging videos for that very special day.
The current charge is €30 per hour.
